Sedation Dentistry

Conscious Sedation in form of Inhalation Conscious Sedation anxiety prior to each dental visit. Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen ("laughing gas") has been used as the most frequent and primary means of Sedation used in Dentistry for many years. Of all US dentists offer Nitrous Oxide Sedation to their patients.  Advantages or Dental Inhalation Sedation: Works well for mild to moderate anxiety Rapid Onset Flexible duration can be used for any appointment length Absolute Control. It is easy to quickly control the level of sedation which may be altered moment to moment.   People recover quickly Very few side effects There is an analgesic effect You can drive yourself to and from your dental appointment You can return to normal activities immediately Disadvantages of Dental Inhalation Sedation: Severe anxiety may require a deeper level of sedation Not indicated for people who have respiratory problems (Asthma and Emphysema) Claustrophobic patients do not like anything covering their nose The safety features of the machine insure a patient receives no less than 30% Oxygen mixed with Nitrous Oxide. Usually the patient receives 50 to 70% Oxygen.

Laser Dental & Deep Cleaning

If you have been told that you need gum surgery or you have periodontal disease, laser dentistry replaces cutting of the gum tissue with a scalpel and does not require stitches. This means an easy recovery with minimal bleeding, which preserves gum tissue, reduces root exposure and sensitivity, and is reasonably priced as compared to traditional gum surgery. Laser disinfection is performed on mild gum disease- gingivitis or re-infected areas of gum diseases. It is a very effective way to eliminate halitosis or bad breath. Your bad breath is gone that day after the laser disinfection. Another good thing is that laser disinfection can be done without anesthesia due to the low power setting, it is also low cost.

Root Canal Treatment

The aim of treatment is to remove infection caused by bacteria from inside the tooth. We use anesthesia to make the procedure pain-free. An opening is made on the top of the tooth. Then the pulp chamber and root canals are cleaned and shaped for filling and sealing. The permanent filling is followed by new crown. We use Lasers for sterilization of root canals
